I'm Valerio Emanuele and I have worked in software since 2010. With DigitalCraft I lead software projects as a technical lead and build custom applications for companies and public organisations in Italy and abroad.

What I do
Main service
I join the project as technical lead or architect. I work out where things stand, make the technical decisions with whoever is accountable for the project, and guide teams and vendors until the work flows again.
How it works →Development
I design and build web and mobile apps, services and integrations between systems, or replace applications that can no longer cope. In short cycles, with tests and frequent releases.
What I can build →Lab
I test on real projects how to use AI in software development without losing control: tests, code review, clear limits.
The experiments →CraftX method
CraftX is how I work. The four phases repeat in short cycles: every cycle delivers something that works and gets closer to the best result.
I question every requirement: what is really needed, for whom and why.
I remove everything that is not needed, then simplify what is left.
I speed up with short cycles, automated tests and AI tools, always under my review.
I automate tests and releases and deliver something that works. Then the cycle starts again, one step further.
The X is the result we are looking for: every cycle gets a little closer to it.
Who is behind it
In more than fifteen years I have worked as a developer, architect, team leader and technical lead. I live in Sicily and work with clients in Italy and abroad, including remotely.
